Issues Briefing 2019

The 2019 League of Women Voters of Illinois 2019 Issues Briefing is on Saturday, March 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the University Center, 525 S. State Street, Chicago, IL.

Our Issues Briefing is a day-long thematic forum for policy experts, community advocates, elected officials and concerned citizens from around the state to meet and share information and best practices. This annual event is one of the most popular programs sponsored by the state League, so early registration is encouraged.

This year’s theme is Creating Quality of Life for ALL in Illinois. Speakers will include legislators, as well as experts from the Shriver Center, Sierra Club and other highly-respected non-profit organizations. Morning and Afternoon Plenary Sessions will be followed by Breakout sessions. Attendees should select one morning session and one afternoon session.
